Picualia is one of Spain’s most respected olive oil producers, located in Jaén, the world’s olive oil capital. We have chosen to share this oil through Beît Ballout & Friends because it represents the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and respect for origin that guides our own work. While our family oil reflects South Lebanon, Picualia offers a window into another great olive-growing region of the Mediterranean.
The hills of Jaén in Andalusia are home to some of the most celebrated olive landscapes in the world. Picualia's groves are tended with the same patience that has shaped this region for centuries, where the rhythm of the harvest still follows the land. Nothing is rushed, and every step is guided by a deep respect for the tree and the soil that sustains it.
Best raw as a finishing oil — drizzle over salads, hummus, grilled vegetables and warm bread. Keep unheated to preserve aroma and polyphenols.
Bottled small-batch and shipped within 1–2 working days. Free delivery over S$100. Unopened bottles can be returned within 14 days.

How long does it keep? Best within 18 months of harvest; once opened, use within ~3 months.

Description

Produced by Picualia in the heart of Andalusia, Spain, this award winning extra virgin olive oil showcases the Picual olive at its finest. Bold, vibrant and intensely aromatic, it offers a distinctly Spanish expression of olive oil with remarkable freshness and character.

The Picualia estate sits in Jaén, the olive capital of the world, where our friends behind it have spent generations perfecting their craft. Every bottle is curated by Dr Simon Poole, whose expertise ensures the oil meets the highest standards of quality, character and provenance.

Our partnership brings their oil from Andalusia to Singapore, where it is bottled in our own facility in collaboration with Picualia. A meeting of two olive growing traditions, brought together by a shared belief that great olive oil deserves to be honored and shared.
