Extra-Virgin Olive Oil: Arbequina
Description
Meet Arbequina, one of Spain’s most beloved olive varieties.
Originally from Catalonia, Arbequina has become one of the most widely cultivated varieties across Spain. It is particularly loved for producing an EVOO that is soft, fruity and wonderfully approachable, with much less bitterness and pungency than some of the more robust varieties.
On the palate, expect delicate notes of fresh apple, almond, ripe fruit and freshly cut grass, with a gentle pepperiness that comes through at the finish.
It’s the kind of olive oil that doesn't need to compete with your food, it complements it.
Drizzle it over warm bread, fresh tomatoes, burrata, grilled fish or roasted vegetables. Use it to finish a simple pasta, dress a salad, or simply dip and taste it on its own.
For those who are new to extra virgin olive oil, Arbequina is a beautiful place to start. Delicate, naturally fruity and easy to love.
And unlike our naturally infused oils, this one is all about the olive itself, a single variety, pressed into an EVOO that lets Arbequina's natural character speak for itself.
